How long have you played EQ? Closing in on 5 years

What other MMOs have you played? None, desided long time ago that as long as I found EQ fun that would be the only one.

What type of work do you do? I started fishing when I left public school, and got my captain exam 2 years later, been fishing on and off since then and had my own fishing vessel until a couple of years ago when it became impossible to keep running that business. Since then I have tried different jobs and I recently started a new job in the concrete industry.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQ? At least 5 hours on a raid night, if im not working its often all day.

What does a typical EQ day consist of for you? Raiding 5 nights a week, lately I have been playing on The combine when we dont raid since I am basicly out of work on Ladwenae besides raids. I am really enjoying playing an untwinked toon and since I started mid velious I have been playing in a lot of zones I didnt really utilize when I started.

What was the race and class of your very first character? First character I made was a Human pally which I played to lvl 4 and never logged into again. Made Ladwenae next and never looked back.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most? I didnt really play a lot of games before I got my first PC in '93, back then it was games like Ufo: enemy unknown, Civ, Doom, Quake, warcraft I and II, settlers and such I played. I got into C-RPGs with diablo, which if not being a real RPG it at least was the reason why I started playing games like Baldur's gate 1+2. After I installed EQ I have only played 2 PC games, Civ IV and EQ, otherwise its games like morrowwing and need 4 speed on x-box.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing EverQuest? Reading fantasy and going out with friends.

What is your highest level in EQ? 70 with max AA, have a 70 ench with 800+
AA on a seperate account.

What race and class is your main character? Woodelf Ranger.

What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character? I like the versatility of the ranger, I dont excell in anything, but I do a lot of things fairly well.

Does your main character worship a deity? Tunare

How did you choose your main character's name? Random name generator.

Which classes in EQ have you NOT played? Monk, Rogue, Warrior, Necro and shaman. I have only played Ranger, Ench and cleric on a regular basis.

What is your favorite expansion? OoW is the favorite of the newer expansions, Velious of the old.

What is your favorite zone? Kod'Taz and Old Seb are my all time favorites, offered all I love with a zone, challenge, nice upgrades, decent xp and they had a great layout.

What is your favorite npc? Overlord Mata Muram for the challenge, I doubt we will see a raid mob that offers that kind of challenge again.

Which expansion do you like the least? LoY and DoN, I never used LoY and DoN took me 3 weeks to complete and had nothing to offer besides the let me zone in and scare you to gimme the loot.

Which zone do you like the least? Plane of fire, risc was non existing and everyone wanted to go there. Dreadspire for the disapointing itemization in an otherwise cool zone....

Which npc do you like the least? Dvinn, he killed me so much!

What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? 350k for AoN.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it? My Tolans BP, I hardly ever use it after I got Origin, but that is one item I will always carry on me.

What do you like best about EverQuest? Progressing and improving my toons. The latest expansions have not offered as much in this regards beside raiding so I had to resort to maxing tradeskills...

What do you get out of playing EverQuest? After playing so many years with so many people I have made a lot of friends who share the same interests, and thats what keeps me playing. If I wasnt playing EQ I would do something else like watching TV or drinking to many beers, and I honestly think EQ is more fun than most other options I have!

Describe your best experience from playing EverQuest? Raiding when everything clicks and we win new encounters.
