Hello everyone, my name is David "Nodyin" Ford and I would like to introduce another video for EverQuest The Buried Sea! This video is very different from the Behind the Scenes video we released prior to the launch of The Buried Sea and I wanted to take a moment to share with you the origin and motivation behind this video.
After each expansion, we are always fortunate to see several player created videos of raids moving through the content as they complete it. We wanted to give you something similar by showcasing the combat you will find in this expansion. We've put together this video entitled "Raid on Solteris" which explores the end zone of The Buried Sea.
I am a huge fan of EverQuest as a game and have been involved with the game either as a player or as a member of this team reaching all the way back to 1999 and the launch of the game. I was very honored and excited to be part of the team that designed and implemented the end zone for The Buried Sea and I hope that you enjoy the video and the raids and events in the zone!

The Buried Sea: Behind the Scenes Video
Hello everyone. My name is David "Nodyin" Ford and I would like to take a moment to introduce "The Buried Sea: Behind the Scenes" video. We put this video together to give you all a sneak peak at what goes on during Beta and a small idea of what we were thinking about when we were creating some of the zones you'll find in The Buried Sea. Think of this like a special feature on a DVD with commentary by actors and directors. In this video Jonathan "Prathun" Caraker and I will be narrating the video as we take a tour of some of the more scenic locations in this expansion and try to give a little back story and additional information as we go along.
We really hope that you enjoy this video and if you do we'd love to hear from you. We all had a blast putting this together and we were delighted with the support we received from our Audio/Visual department and so many others within SOE to make this happen.
We would like to do something like this again (and it doesn't have to be part of an expansion release) so if you like what you see here let us know. There is one more video in the pipeline that we will be releasing in a few weeks that takes a look at some of the combat in The Buried Sea but for now please enjoy our behind the scenes look a the making of an EverQuest expansion!
