How long have you played EQ?
Real life time about 18 months, game time about 3 hours a week and I can't add that high.

What other MMOs have you played?
None this is my first

What type of work do you do?
Director of Information Security

How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQ?
About an hour or two a shot… or was that a shot every hour or two?

What does a typical EQ day consist of for you?
Now that I finally made it to my 60s with my main, I spend most of my time chasing AAs; mostly in Veksar these days.

What was the race and class of your very first character?
My very first character is my current character High Elf Paladin. My recommendation is not just rush into a name!! I thought I was just checking out the kid's new game and ended up sticking with him.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most?
I have always been a gamer; from the early days of D&D until now.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing EverQuest?
I am a Little League coach in a fairly competitive area of town. We love striving to become District champions and hope we can eventually make a run at Williamsport.

What is your highest level in EQ?
I believe some mountain in Lavastorm gave me the greatest view…… NVM, 63 Pally is my main.

What race and class is your main character?
As above, High Elf Paladin.

What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character?
I always try to live up to the Pally approach. See if I can help someone. It's the main reason I chose the surname of Friendtomany. It's about the interaction mostly, although trouncing some undead scum helps keep my spirits up too.

Does your main character worship a deity?
Worship, are you kidding. I worship most of the level 75s I run into these days cause I can't figure out where they get the pp to have what they do. Who has time for worship?

How did you choose your main character's name?
That was a mistake. I figured it would be easy to start a character, find out what the games like, see if it's safe for my kids and then if I liked it, I would change the name. After all, would you ever name a toon Dadio? C'mon, let's be real, can't even make a pun off the name. I tried Dadio wetoomuchmoney, Dadio ughttogethome, Dadio ftendreamofgirls. Just doesn't do it for me though. If you launch a change name feature, let me know.

Which classes in EQ have you NOT played?
Wow, that's a lot of them. I have only played my Pally and Wizard. I have played my son's Ranger while he's off doing some chore I sent him on after all I don't want to have to camp him - (He actually believes I'm doing him a favor)

What is your favorite expansion?
I like all the expansions. Haven't figured out what half of them changed since I came in when there were like 10 of em.

What is your favorite zone?
I really like Veksar now due to the undead. I still haven't figured out how to max out my damage like others when I'm not there. But hey, that's half the fun.

What is your favorite npc?
Do I have to pick one? Ok, so this isn't pally like, but whoever designed the female toons ought to get a raise.

Which expansion do you like the least?
The one that cost $30 bucks and I have to wait 6 months for it to drop in price. Reality is I wouldn't have a problem, but we have two accounts so that I can play with the kids at the same time. Wish there was a family option for multiple accounts, then I'd fork up the cash for all to upgrade.

Which zone do you like the least?
The ones no one goes to anymore. I would like to see more rotation of the hot zones to keep people exploring the world. It's refreshing to learn a zone from end to end.

Which npc do you like the least?
Female ogres! Just ugly, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?
I think I spent about 5K for a breastplate. If I have any real beef its that I don't have a good way to raise cash to buy items. Farming Giants or some other mobs is slow, but takes away from others who need the zone/mob for normal leveling. A good idea might be to have quests (solo) or otherwise that can be done to raise capital.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it?
My little brother, but he has nothing to do with EQ. I still have a broken Rile's blade in the bank, but only because I have never bothered to figure out what it is for.

What do you like best about EverQuest?
Everything!! I love the interaction with others, the pursuit of doing more and more damage, and just overall love of adventure.

What do you get out of playing EverQuest?
Mostly flack from my wife! She actually thinks dusting the furniture is more beneficial? Go figure….

Describe your best experience from playing EverQuest?
When our Guild was running on all cylinders, things were great. You could always log on and find something fun to do. Whether it was helping a fellow guildie, or just chatting up life, EQ with fellow adventurers is just plain fun. I even enjoy playing "protector" with growing guild members. Sometimes it's just fun to push the limits of a group and knowing someone can step in and help rescue the team really lets creativity fly. Then again, its good to use my rez from time to time. LOL.
