The zone with the best atmosphere – discussion started by Community Member muv_rog
I am just curious what zone has the best atmosphere for you. For me it is a zone that is actually hardly ever used at all: Plane of Time A. It's kinda the prezone to the endzone in PoP and resembles exactly that. Right when you zone in there is perhaps the best music in EQ, epic yet peaceful. That huge clock is well made and gives you the real feeling of being in a timeless place.

I recently put together this guide over on the shadowknight boards. It's a list of all the hotzones from the last few batches with all of the extra stuff that stayed in. Should be pretty helpful for new players looking for places to hunt and some decent gear for the untwinked. Especially the augs which are hard to come by at the low levels.

Something I would love to see, although I don't know if it has ever been done before in a game, is an "EverQuest Webcam." I'd love to see a place where you can log on and take a peek at what's going on in the world of Norrath. Maybe have one stationed at the Main Bank in PoK, one in the tutorial, and maybe a "hotzone cam" that shows various camps in the current hotzones. A "Raid Cam" would also be cool. This cam would be controlled by a dev/GM/guide/whatever and could be used to show various raids as they happened. This would be cool for getting a bit of an "EQ Fix" while at work, and could also be used to show people what EQ is really like and also for Norrathians to "Ham it up" some.

This is something I would very much like to see… the ability to play with people from other servers in instanced content. Shouldn't be a tough one to code.

Yes.... I am a goob..... I six box (this sounds like the start to an AA meeting). In any event I would like to request a loot all function. I don't care if it actually takes the same amount of time (or more even) as right clicking on all your items manually would. I would just like to be able to loot all my stuff in semi-parallel fashion.
