Where in the real life world do you live?
Ocala, FL How long have you played EQ?
Since March of 1999, I am often referred to as older then dirt. What other MMOs have you played?
PlanetSide and, Star Wars Galaxies most recently. I have played everything from Darksun Online to Ultima Online which I left to join EverQuest. What type of work do you do?
I work for a Caterpillar Dealer in my area. How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQ?
At present about 4 hours a night, all of which is spent raiding. What does a typical EQ day consist of for you?
I log in, check the boards, DKP site and chat with my friends in fellowship and run around in circles in the guild hall while waiting for raids to start. I do manage an alt guild for my toons and a few close friends. What was the race and class of your very first character?
I made a dwarven paladin who I still play today. What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most?
I am an old table top player. I have played D&D in all it's forms along with games like Toon, Battletech and Cyberpunk to name a few. What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing EverQuest?
: I like to fiddle with websites. I do some minor story writing and I work on my Neverwinter Nights server from time to time. What is your highest level in EQ?
I have two toons who are level 75 at present. What race and class is your main character?
I play an old forgetful 75 Dwarven Paladin on the Bristlebane Server. What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character?
Paladins are a hybrid class. We can do a lot of things. While I cannot solo effectively I seem to compliment a variety of group types rather well. Does your main character worship a deity?
Brell Serilis has been my god since day one! How did you choose your main character's name?
Well when I played Ultima Online I was an evil noto PK. I wanted to turn over a new leaf when I started EQ. I decided on one of my table top character names. Since I was not allowed to name him Rath, I named him Rathsilveraxe. His full name is Rathsilveraxe Silverstorm! Which classes in EQ have you NOT played?
I have not played any of the new classes that were not part of the original game. What is your favorite expansion?
I have to say that I really like TSS. It seems to be well rounded for all levels of play. I even created a drakkin wizard which I created in honor of a long time friend who passed away a few years ago. We were like brothers. I created this character to honor one of his old D&D characters we used to adventure with. What is your favorite zone?
I loved the original Freeport. Back when I was a young dwarf I often traveled via boat to Freeport from Kaladim. This was always an adventure in it's self. Compared to Kaladim, Freeport seemed huge and for a long time (before maps) I would get lost =D. What is your favorite NPC?
From my Planes of Power raiding days I have to say I liked Saryrn the best. Always thought she was cool to look at. Which expansion do you like the least?
I never really got into the LoY expansion. When it came out it did not offer me much as a player. Which zone do you like the least?
That is a tough one. I can say that wiping in the Plane of Fear made it one of the most disliked zones before you could summon your corpse. CR'ing in Fear could take hours upon end in the old days. I even have an old screen shot of a friend and me zoning into Fear before they implemented the level minimum. The screen shots were taking just before we were killed by scarelings. Which NPC do you like the least?
Sergeant Slate in the old East Commonlands. Being a paladin I had ruined my faction with the Freeport Militia early off. More then once he caught be by surprise and killed me. Let's just say that is no longer an issue, smirks. What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?
Most of my toons and my wife's toons have 100k mounts. I do not remember buying anything for more then this. Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it?
For the longest time I keep my old weapons. Back in the day I even named my weapons. My first magical weapon was a Combine Long Sword which I bought in North Karana at the gypsy camp for 54 plat. I bought this so I could fight in the lower levels of Befallen to hopefully get a Bone Bladed Claymore. I do have a nice collection of weapons from the paladin epic line My goal is to have a complete set. I am almost done! What do you like best about EverQuest?
I love EQ because to me it is a chat room with a game wrapped around it. I have met so many people over the years from all over the world. I have a friend from Germany who I have known since I tried to PK him back in my Ultima Online days. I think it has been over ten years now that I have known him online. What do you get out of playing EverQuest?
EQ has always been a creative outlet for me. I have led quite a few guilds over the years. Held a variety of officer positions. My favorite is recruitment. It allows me to meet and greet new people all the time. Before I joined Voices of Chaos I was Heroes of Myth's recruitment leader. They are an outstanding guild and I have a ton of friends still there. Managing online communities has always been a forte of mine. Describe your best experience from playing EverQuest?
I would have to say when I was in Blood of Ro on Solusek Ro. We were the first guild to enter the Plane of Time on our server. That and the fact we killed Tunare on Mothers Day when that expansion first came out! Do you run or work for an EverQuest Fan Site?
Sure don't. I just play around my personal website.
