Did you receive an email invitation to return to Norrath for the Living Legacy event this summer? Did you see this concept image in the 9th Anniversary Edition of the EQ Newsletter?


If you didn't then you may not be signed up to receive emails about EverQuest and from The Station.

Here are some tips to take to make sure you receive future mailers:

  1. Click on the My Account link on the Station banner up top of any SOE website or forum.

  2. Click on


  3. Select the options for emails you wish to receive. If you want to receive e-mails about EverQuest you should select EverQuest and the Station. While the station has information about all of our games, it often sends out emails that include news about EverQuest.


  4. Click on the button.


  5. Or you can just visit https://secure.station.sony.com/optin/viewOptins.m .

If you click on the Newsletter link on the EQPlayers website, once you log in, it will automatically bring you to the opt-in page.


How come I never seem to get any EverQuest mailers?
There are a couple of reasons you may not be receiving the Newsletters or other emails from SOE.

  • Incorrect Email Address:
    You can update your email address by clicking under the My Account option.

  • Email is being blocked:
    If your e-mail system has a block, junk, bulk, or spam mail folder, you'll want to make sure that it allows e-mail from The Station@sony.com [station-mailer@sony-online.com] You will need to check the options, properties, or preferences of your mail system to determine how to set this up.

  • Options not saved:
    There's a chance that your options were not set correctly when the system changed over to this system in the past. To fix this, unselect all options, click on apply, then select your choices again and click on apply again to save it. That should refresh the list.

How can I get my character highlighted or get my story featured in an EverQuest Newsletter?
Getting featured in the Newsletter is easier than you think. If you are actively participating in the community on the forums and in game by contributing positive sources of information, detailed feedback, new ideas, stories, artwork, and participating in contests, challenges, discussion threads, and other forum fun, you increase your chances of being featured.

If you have special stories, strategy guides, or other interesting news to share, submit them and there's a chance it will get featured in one of the next editions of the EverQuest Newsletter or on the EQPlayers website. Submit your news.
