EverQuest's Escape to Norrath Free Trial

If you'd like to try EverQuest out for free, visit the Escape to Norrath trial website.

Here are the steps to install Escape to Norrath:
  • Visit http://escapetonorrath.station.sony.com/.
  • Click on Try it for Free! Download Now.
  • Next, click on Download.
  • Click on Save and save the installer to your desktop for easy access.
  • Once the installer file is downloaded, click on the EtNInstaller file on your desktop.
  • Run the installer and follow the instructions.
  • When asked where you want to install it, choose the default location or your own location (unless you have EverQuest on your computer already, then select a different path to save Escape to Norrath because it may overwrite existing files and force you to redownload them when you launch the regular version of EverQuest).
  • Once the game is installed, click on the Escape to Norrath shortcut on your desktop. This will launch the Escape to Norrath version of EQ.
  • In order to run Escape to Norrath, a station account is needed to play, but you do not need a subscription. The Station Account is a membership account and not a subscription. It doesn't cost anything to join Station.com.
  • When prompted, Click on Try it for 14 Days (do not click on Subscribe).
*Character advancement is limited to level 10 in this trial. To continue to play after level 10 and/or on a traditional EverQuest server, you must purchase the retail package version of EverQuest® from a participating retailer. In addition, to continue to play EverQuest after the trial, you will have to update your account with a valid credit card or official SOE Game Card to pay the recurring subscription fee and then you can pick up right where you left off in your trial by logging in under the same Station Account.
