Raid-Task-Expo Compare - Discussion shared by Community Member SulayaKylia
As a former Raid leader, I can tell you this would save ALOT of time and STRESS on the raid leaders in the game. Not to mention the raid members waiting patiently as the raid leaders sort out the situation.Solo Players in EQ - Discussion shared by Community Member rambrosIf there's concerns about how much load this command would create, have the command only usuable by a raid leader/task leader/dz leader and set the reuse time the same as the /who command.

Seems like the MMO's being released these days lack a lot. One thing in particular i notice about these games, is that there is a large playerbase that tends to favor doing things on their own, and progressing their character solo or in small groups when they feel like it. The games however, are mostly designed for organized raids at the high end and long term progression of the individual's character in guilds through obtaining gear. WoW is a great example - they really limit the solo player's options, and spend loads of time developing high end raid content. EQ has the AA system, and some classes that can solo, so I'm playing the game now, as a necro. I would suggest the devs to give other classes the ability to solo at all levels without needing to be twinked or power-leveled. Do any others agree with me that these games need more solo content???? People always tell me to go play a single player game, but i enjoy these games more.Fastest Class to Level - Discussion shared by Community Member Xenow_Drinal
Which class does 1 to 50 the fastest with no twinking/bazaar/outside buffs? Pretty much what the title says… which class can make it from 1 to 50 without any assistance whatsoever? Why I still play - Discussion shared by Community Member thelostranger
Because I still call my brother (that plays) and say you wouldn't believe this. Then launch to the most recent recounting of my exploits [adventurers] through Norrath and the he dose the same. Why do you still play?Playing for the Challenge or for the Fun - Discussion shared by Community Member ELISLRAC
I've got a question that I'd like answered, "Why do most of you play EverQuest?"Most Needed Class for Raids - Discussion shared by Community Member ThasicIf you had to pick 1 what would it be and why. If not one of these then what and why? Mine is escapism as I can sit at my keyboard and totally lose myself in playing the game, not having to worry about a job (or lack of one), family problem's, personal problems. It's stress release at it's most pleasant. I can take frustrations out by killing some mobs (usually undead for me). I'm curious at what others have to say.
- Is it for the challenge the game provides?
- Is it for the escapism it provides?
- Is it for the social aspect?
I realize there are several must have components of a raid. However surely there is that one class or two that is always preffered yet so hard to find. I would like to know what that class is, really want to get into some raiding in the game and would like to be as valuable as possible. Thanks.
