Meet Norfare Fae`Oallon Server: Cazic-Thule (Brell Serilis) Guild: Altruistic Brotherhood |
Horsham, Pennsylvania How long have you played EQ?
More on than off since July 2000 What other MMOs have you played?
SWG, WoW, LOTR Beta What type of work do you do?
I'm a college student, but I work at Starbucks part-time and during the summer I'm a camp counselor at a day camp for kids from inner-city Philadelphia. How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQ?
When I have nothing to do that day, could be from 10am-2am if I wanted haha. What does a typical EQ day consist of for you?
Grouping/soloing... I also tend to look in the bazaar for upgrades a lot. What was the race and class of your very first character?
Half-elf druid, technically. Actually, he spawned outside Surefall, and I was corpse camped by "a skeleton" for 5 min until I restarted my computer. I deleted him and made him a wood elf druid so he's really my first character. What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most?
My older brothers definitely got me into gaming, way back on the Sega Master System and old-school stuff like that… but definitely MMO's. What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing EverQuest?
Work takes up most of my time, but I do like Football and Soccer. What is your highest level in EQ?
66 What race and class is your main character?
High Elf Mage What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character?
I'd played my druid to level 50, deleted him and quit EQ. I came back, and wanted to start off brand new and experience the game in a totally different way. I think I got what I bargained for. Does your main character worship a deity?
Yup! Karana. How did you choose your main character's name?
It's actually a misspelling of "Norfair" the fiery area from Super Metroid on the SNES. Which classes in EQ have you NOT played?
None. I actually think in my tenure I've played every race/class combination at least to level 5. I tend to be an alt-maniac. What is your favorite expansion?
Ruins of Kunark, hands down. It's not the graphics that make it a good game, IMO. It was the amount of lore and history put behind the content that made that expansion so much more to me. What is your favorite zone?
Greater Faydark. I need to represent my roots. Either that or Kurn's Tower. I loved leveling there. What is your favorite NPC?
Dooly Jonkers. He's in the Academy of Arcane Science. I think he was THE most ridiculous name I've seen in EQ. Which expansion do you like the least?
LDoN or DoD, or DoN. DoD and DoN didn't seem to have much to do with the game, and LDoN never really seemed all that popular. Which zone do you like the least?
Rathe Mountains. I never really got to know my way in there, and just when I started getting the hang of it, they changed everything up on me! Which NPC do you like the least?
Any NPC dealing with the Mage 1.0. They can all burn for all I care. What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?
60k, I think. It was for Crown of Elemental Mastery and Quillmane Cloak. Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it?
Tons... my trader has bags full of old-school items I won't sell, and keep them for just that. What do you like best about EverQuest?
It was my introduction to MMOs, and I've met a bunch of great people on there. What do you get out of playing EverQuest?
Friendships. I've known the leaders of Altruistic Brotherhood since my short time in Hand of Chaos, and they've been (who I consider) my closest EQ friends. The others that joined the guild later on are also great people, and I love leveling with them all. Describe your best experience from playing EverQuest?
There have been so many great experiences. all of my firsts... first character. First time getting to level 14 and getting SoW, losing a corpse, getting lost in a zone, first time coming back to EQ, dinging 60, getting the Mage epic followed by Monk, Druid, and Rogue... all of them have been great. Do you run or work for an EverQuest Fan Site?
I do not.
