Q. How do you feel about winning the Mr. Norrath title?

Great!

Q. What did you think about other submissions or entrants? Do you have specific character images you liked?

Everyone had a different idea of what to do with their characters, and there were a lot of great poses and styles. Some of my favorites were Molleah’s pic, WoWoLiam Dreadpiraterobbert, and several that resembled baseball cards, like Sesshu Kotoyumu.

Q. Why do you think your character was selected as a finalist and voted as the winner?

One of the main reasons I think my character was selected as finalist is because I went for a more original style. A lot of the character pictures I saw did their very best to make their characters look as impressive as possible, but I decided to take a more casual route. Now as to why I won the contest; that credit goes straight to my friends, guild, server, and all those who campaigned for me. I know there were times when we had a 24/7 promotion, and they really went above and beyond what anyone could expect. Thanks guys! Here is the link to his guild website.

 

Q. How you feel about the fact that you won the title by the community vote.

It feels good to have friends in everquest that pull for you. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have come close to 3rd, much less first.

Q. Please tell us about your froglok character? Are you fond of frogs?

Kannak is the first character that I played passed level two. I never paid attention to the story line, because I made him to play with my real-life friends. I enjoy frogloks. I first chose this race because I was told that they were chased from their home by the trolls, and I had a crazy dream of being like Robin Hood and inspiring my fellow frogloks to fight back.

Q. How did you obtain your red costume?

I tried to put a big yellow S on it, but I couldn’t find the option. Jk… Its really just standard red defiant armor I picked up while playing. I didn’t mean to get a matching set, but it just kinda happened.

 

Q. Do you think your personality is similar to the character or the opposite? If so, how?

I really just created him to help almost any group that I’m in, so long as they don’t need a tank. So far as personality goes, I’m really just being myself when I play him.

Q. What did you think about the forum challenge for Mr. and Miss Norrath? How was your overall experience?

This was just one of those contests I thought I just had to try. It was fun to find the right images and backgrounds and splice them together. I also enjoyed looking at the other characters and seeing how they created their pictures.

Who did you tell first when you found out you were the winner?

Everyone! When I first found out I had won Mr. Norrath, I thanked everyone who voted in general, guild, and out of character chat. I did this for the next three or four times I got online in hope to thank at least most of those who supported me in this contest. Thanks again all!

Q. What do you like about EverQuest?

Community. I’ve tried many MMORPG’s, and I may like to solo once in a while, but I need a group of friends to play with. If finding a group is a constant problem, I lose interest with the game.

Q. What is your favorite game style?

I do a little solo, but I enjoy playing with others when possible the most. It’s all about having fun with others for me.

Q. Does your character have a background story? If so, please share it with us.

I’m afraid I’ve never developed a background. I did play this character with the intent of one day defeating the trolls.
