How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQ?
2-3 hours on workdays, longer on weekday off days
What does a typical EQ day consist of for you?
Right now, I've pretty much finished all the group content that Seeds of Destruction has to offer, so it's a mix between helping my guild get caught up in progression - we have a revolving door of people that retire for a bit, then come back, so I keep busy helping them - and piddling around with GoD-era quests. I keep meaning to work on the Breakdown in Communications augument, but I never seem to get around to it. Also, I'm doing my cleric's 1.5 at the moment as well.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most?
Hmmm, I can't remember actually what, but it was Atari 2600 era, for sure! These days other than EQ, I either play western RPGs or sandbox games. The last three games I completed were Saint's Row 2, Fallout 3 and Uncharted; Then again, I have a stack of games I'll likely never get around to, I still haven't beat Metal Gear Solid 4, and I just started a new game of Final Fantasy VII on PSP.
What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other than playing EverQuest?
Work and sleep. Seriously though, I collect stuff related to the classic 1930s, Weird Tales magazines, special edition video game strategy guides (I'm looking for the hardcover Fallout 3 Wasteland Survival Guide edition at the moment).

85 Ranger, 3100ish AA
What race and class is your main character?
Wood Elf Ranger
What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character?
Versatility. I can tank if I have to, or I can stand at the backside and whack the crap out of stuff. I can back up the healers if I need to, or I can crowd control mobs. It keeps me busy at least!
Does your main character worship a deity?
Tunare 4tw!
How did you choose your main character's name?
Funny story. I tried several names I had planned out, and they were all rejected. So, I clicked the old Generate Random Name button, and Kolani came up. As for Stormynytes, it was the surname of the three (now four) sisters in the Stormynytes family.
Which classes in EQ have you NOT played?
Well, I've played a little bit of all them, but as far as leveling, I have never went beyond 10 as anything but warrior, ranger, cleric or shaman. Ranger and cleric are the only thing 80 or above.
What is your favorite expansion?
Hrm. Seeds of Destruction now, I do like how it ties a lot of things together neatly. You see, I always knew the Priests of Discord were up to SOMETHING and Koruscan Warrens gave me the evidence!

Tossup between Greater Faydark and Plane of Growth
What is your favorite NPC?
Tunare! Or Fippy, he's so persistent
Which expansion do you like the least?
Prophecy of Ro. One sweep through and you're done!
Which zone do you like the least?
Tipt. I used to lie to people and tell them I didn't own Gates of Discord because people wanted me to do nothing but snare charmed mobs for their enchanter and weaponshield tank the boss. It was fun the first half dozen times, but by Tipt Run #45, it was old. I got away with it even once when I was in Natimbi!

Kane Bayle!
What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?
Way too much for a Racnar-Bone Recurve when SoF came out and our server's main raid guild were the only people with access. I think I paid around 800k for it at the time.
Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it?
Yes! I have a trinket that my character's rp niece Fham made her back in 2002 that sits in the same place in the bank all the time. Aleyla hasn't played since 2004, Fham for much longer. =(
What do you like best about EverQuest?
There's always something to do, plus I'm up to the cranky old ranger phase, and kids ask me questions sometimes in ranger channel, I always try my best to share what I do know.
What do you get out of playing EverQuest?
The achievement and camaraderie, whether it's reaching a goal I've set for myself or helping someone else finish something. I reached my personal goal of 5k ac the other day on my ranger, but earlier in the day I had been muddling around in Nagafen's Lair and Skyfire helping a cleric finish her 1.0. And they were both equally fulfilling.
Describe your best experience from playing EverQuest?
I have a dark elf cleric alt, obviously Innoruuk is the only option for deity. However, I try to roleplay her as a cleric of Tunare. Through a lot of planning and a ton of hard faction work, she's KoS if she tries to use Return Home to go to her origin point in the Neriak cleric guild. However, if she strolls into her adopted home, Felwithe, they regard her as an ally.
