What type of work do you do? Cost Analyst for a manufacturing company
How long is your typical gaming session when playing EQ? About 6 hours on a raid night. I also try to squeeze in an hour before work in the mornings for minor questing or tradeskilling.
What does a typical EQ day consist of for you? Attempt to log in on time for the beginning of the raid and hope the kiddos stay asleep throughout.
What was the race and class of your very first character? A night-blind human magician created in Jan 2001 and still played as an alt on a second account when there is room in the raid or group.
What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most? I was in junior high for the Golden Age of arcade games, which hooked me from the start. I blame Tolkien and Gygax for my fascination with fantasy worlds. When not playing an MMO I mostly play strategy games, but I still wish for an update to the Xwing/TIE Fighter series.
What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing EverQuest? Reading fantasy/sci-fi books, spouse faction tasks.

What race and class is your main character? Vah Shir beastlord
What do you like the most about the class you have chosen for your main character? Versatility. A beastlord can fill several roles and using pets also gives you more tactic options.
Does your main character worship a deity? Agnostic, my character believes one should look inward for strength rather than ask for it from some other entity.
How did you choose your main character's name? I tweaked a few letters from the name given by the generator.
Which classes in EQ have you NOT played? I have not played most. Besides beast and mage I've only experimented with rogue and SK.
What is your favorite expansion? Omens of War, it was fun figuring out the quests for our epics. Close runner up was SoD for the lore and variety of quests to do.
What is your favorite zone? Acrylia Caverns – fun zone with lots of mobs and decent drops. Plus, killing grimlings is good clean fun.
What is your favorite NPC? Tirranun - awesome dragon model.
Which expansion do you like the least? PoR
Which zone do you like the least? Field of Scale – often laggy, terrible community, named are rare and frequently snatched away by anyone with track.
Which NPC do you like the least? Rear Guard Captain Balreth from Solteris – I hope to never, ever again see another like him.
What is the most platinum you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? I think about 150k for an item or two during the frenzy of buying and selling at the beginning of SoF.
Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it? Several that I just can't bear to delete after working on them for so long and completing the quests. Marsinger's Gem, Epic 1.0 claws, Aid Grimel earring, Blessed Coldain Prayer Shawl (glad now that I kept that one!) are just a few examples.
What do you like best about EverQuest? Questing and surprising people about things that a beast/mage duo can accomplish.
What do you get out of playing EverQuest? Sense of accomplishment, getting to run around in a huge fantasy world, visit beautiful locations meet exotic beings and slay them for whatever is in their pockets.
Describe your best experience from playing EverQuest? Experiencing the full ceremony in Hollowshade when I got my beast epic 2.0 after figuring out strats and leading the raids required prior to Anguish.
