Treeflower Starbreeze
107 Park Circle, Maple Bridge Point
Bertoxxulous-Saryn

Although I am a Druid, I did not feel the need to make my house revolve around this. After all, if I had wanted to live in a tree house, I would have stayed in Kelethin! My house instead reflects a life-long passion for trade skills and a weapon collection that to me is something to be proud of. That said it isn't a serious "ho-hum" uptight affair. I am not one of those High Elves! No. While the main hall is rather serious, the other two rooms are quite enjoyable; a full bar and entertainment section in one and my bed chamber in the other.

Park Circle, although lacking high-elevation dwellings is still an extremely beautiful space. For, where else in Sunrise Hills can I gaze out my front windows in the morning to be greeted by a waving knoll of wildflowers, and in the afternoon recline on my hammock near a serene little pond that touches my backyard? Even though I distanced myself from my heritage, you can take the druid out of nature, but you can't take nature out of the druid. So won't you join me sometime for Qeynos Afternoon Tea in the gazebo? Or perhaps spend a cold winter's night singing Frostfell carols by the fire?

I chose this outside view at night, because as you can see, I have put up a functioning light on my door. It gets so dreadfully dark here in the mountains, so I felt the need to illuminate my yard. There are also hedges all around a wooden gate that has overgrown with vines. Two lamps stand on either side. I am still in dispute with the gnomes to get them working properly. My welcoming statue is larger than your typical gnome because I felt that he should be seen from a distance, welcoming neighbors and visitors alike to stop by. Furthermore, the teenagers might try and steal him in the night.

As I stated before, I am an avid weaponry collector. Here we see my pride: The Sword of Truth, collected myself from Lord Inquisitor Seru. Above it, I have also hung a relic from my early days: A Qeynos Kite Shield. I used to carry one of these shields; of course this was in the time before Kunark had been discovered. My charming flamingos, a gift from my mother, enjoy a small kiss by my front door. The object on the house behind them is a rather inventive door bell. You press the green sparkley thing on the top, and the lower part sends a chime through the house. I am still unsure how it works, but it works. Under that, I have my mailbox. I check it often so feel free to drop me a line.

Many of my neighbors ask me how my property is so well-maintained. How my flowers got to be so big? How my grass stays green in the dead of winter? And how my trees grew in only a month's time? Of course I tell them that it is my awesome Druid's powers, but a lot of it has to do with my secret gardening shed in the back yard. It isn't a true shed, rather it is a tarp stretched into a crude covering, but it gets the job done. Plus, it looks rather nice right there. My gardening tools are conveniently leaned up against the house, and protected from the weather. In the corner is also my lovely little cabana with two hammocks and a nice table for drinks. This is a perfect place to nap on a lazy summer afternoon.

Perhaps you'd rather be closer to nature? Well a funny thing happened. I placed the gazebo in the other back corner of my yard when the trees were just saplings. I enjoyed watching them grow greatly. But, when they reached their full size, their branches wound their way through the ironwork! I do not have the heart to trim them back away from it, so they are free to invade the gazebo. They continue to work their way in and I happily rake their discarded leaves/needles. It is very nice to drink some tea with friends while the trees gently swish.

Upon entering my home, you are greeted with a somewhat vain tribute to yours truly. Here are some of my many accomplishments proudly displayed. Note the epic and fabled weapons hung with great care and pride and on the counter all of my trade skill awards, including the highest honors. Of course the size of the trophies varies, some of them are higher ranks than others. I keep the Jeweler's Eyeglass upon the counter, because it is being used far more often than the others. You may have noticed my two gnomes flanking the bunch of flowers in the middle. Yes, I know they are supposed to go in lawns, but I think they look rather nice there on my honor table...

Next to the tribute counter is a strange little door along the floor. This gives me access to the crawlspace beneath my home that functions as my storage. Seeing how I just recently made this my home, it remains empty, A beautiful example of pre-Green Mist artwork hangs above it, as do two finely crafted Shan`Toks hang on the adjacent wall. Much of my young life was spent exploring the wonders of Kunark, so it would only be logical that pieces from there would be included.

The dining room set is of a typical design, but the buffet is a real eye-catcher. Like throughout the rest of the house, the furniture is mostly crafted from wood. I do most of my entertaining in the adjacent room, so I merely placed a nice bunch of flowers upon the table and went on my way. I was never for formal get-togethers anyway. The shield was acquired from the Centaur tribe living on the plains surrounding Goru`Kar Mesa. Atop it is the most ornate dagger that has ever crossed paths with me. Upon the buffet-table are freshly picked bouquets of flowers and two fire bowls. Their flames visually extend upwards to the remarkable summon swords that were graciously donated by a magician friend.

Moving into my entertaining room, we come to the large bar in the back. Seeing how my legendary drinking abilities are somewhat known throughout Norrath and the Higher Planes, it would only make sense that the bar would be fully stocked and well-kept. Again, thanks to the magician who handed me a satchel with all sorts of dreamy weapons, and thusly the two jagged fire blades are placed proudly so that the patrons could see. A skull from an old buddy of mine greets the patrons as they shuffle up to place orders. Poor Ulrich, he loved his drink, but couldn't handle the road to Highpass well. My living friends can get rowdy and the results of an evening of drunken fun can be seen on the bar. I did not have the chance to clean it up before you came. I don't know the story about the glowing staff. I think a wizard, who was a cousin of a friend of a friend brought it in and forgot to grab it before gating home. I keep it there in case he comes looking for it.

I come from a family with somewhat of a bardic tradition. Therefore, music is a feature of my life. I haven't had much time to sit and play the piano, nor the instruments I have on the walls, but when my adventuring slows down, I will. Hopefully my friends will join me in some joyous songs, as you can see I have extra stools prepared for a jam session. The bears play music for me when I do not have the time, so at least there is always music in my life. I went someplace, a tavern in a nice neighborhood, and instead of the normal bar tables and stools, they had lovely cushioned chairs. I replicated that, so some of my fancier guests can enjoy the music away from the bar. At the bazaar, I found a truly remarkable piece of Tae Ew metalwork, which hangs behind the booth.

Darts and pubs go hand in hand. Therefore, I made one of my own, complete with a set of darts! Unfortunately, my brother-in-arms threw them too hard, and most of them are embedded into the wood so far, we can no longer see them. We were able to recover one. That's the trouble with trolls, they don't know their own strengths! Anyway, that evening's tournament wouldn't be stopped by a mere loss of the darts, so everyone just threw what they had. And of course, many of them had terrible aim. My poor walls! I even put a blinking bull's eye in, and still they all have such lousy aim. Maybe next time I won't serve Interplanar Brain Blasters with Minotaur Hero Brews as chasers.

Next to the rather unremarkable table, there of course is the ghoulish shield that a friend of mine purchased as a gift. In his defense, he IS a necromancer, and is somewhat of a sweet guy so I don't want to hurt his feelings by taking it down. That spooky smile creeps me out. I always have to look at it whenever I go and get the broom to clean up.

Outside my bed chamber is the main entryway. I have my fishing pole propped next to the door in case I fancy fishing either in the small pond behind the house, or joining my mother at her home on the larger lake in the neighborhood. A box holds my winter boots and coat so that I do not trudge mud and slush through the house during the long winters. One of my cats must've hidden the dog's favorite squeaky toys, probably the Fippy Darkpaw one, in that area. Poor dog, the cats always gang up on him. Anyways, the two axes are large, and can be taken down in case solicitors do not get the hint that I do not want what they are offering. Above a small dresser with all sorts of random items hangs a rather unusual painting. I don't know where it came from, but one day it was in my house. Under it, I always have a tea light burning in that crucible.

Finally we move to "where all the magic happens," the bedroom. I love to sleep comfortably, so the bed has the finest sheets and mattress platinum could buy. Another Qeynos Kite Shield adorns the headboard, along with a twinkling light to create an air of romance. Now I am old enough to sleep without my bear, but Sir. Fluffers still holds a special place in my heart and stays in the room. I am an avid reader, but I am also not one for completing things. Therefore, I have half-finished books all over my bed. Two tridents flank a very special hammer over my bead. That is indeed the Tri-Plated Golden Hackle Hammer, it was a gift from the Coldain people after I slew their most hated enemy: King Tormax of Kael Drakkel.

As you know, it gets quite chilly in the evenings in the valley. I decided to have a fireplace installed over a forge, because the forges heat was far too much. This lovely fireplace has real marble and stone accents, and has a large capacity for burning logs. It keeps my bedroom nice and toasty! I used the last of those lovely swords my magician friend gave me to adorn it, making the whole area sparkle and glow romantically. It is a sight to be held at nighttime. A small shield fits neatly in the display and a bow hangs on the mantle. Perhaps in time I will have lots of beautiful curios to place on the mantle, but for now I leave it somewhat bare. Next to it is a funny rainbow crystal I picked up at a massive party. I think it was someone's anniversary.... Anyways, next to it on the wall is what you might call "folk art." My mother, bless her, made that for me, and I can't understand why. I keep it... ahem... proudly displayed in my bedroom, hidden in the back. I also have a massive sand dollar I found on a beach during a vacation in Timorous Deep.

I have been all over the world, and all of the other planes of existence, and I have met a lot of people along the way. I try and keep in contact with my friends, and I do a lot of my writing at this desk. It is large enough for me to keep my papers and books out for easy access, and neat little drawers to keep what I don't need right away. A small lantern keeps the area lit even in the darkest evenings, and my magical pen never runs out of ink. Many who have toured my home already have questioned why such a person as myself uses such a simple and homely chair to write in. I answer them by explaining how I used this very chair ever since I was a little girl, studying the ancient songs of the Druids high above the ground in Kelethin. That simple chair has seen me through the centuries just fine. Furthermore, the newer chairs hurt my delicate back. I made sure my desk was near a window so I could continue to write my nature poetry. Hopefully a book of my lovely verses will be published soon. I haven't heard back from the New Tanaan Group, though.

I spent a number of years in a tropical climate, and have only recently moved here to Sunrise Hills. Sometimes I miss the sights and smells of my former warmer home. On a recent trip to the Emerald Jungle, I saw this sorry little palm tree, sitting alone by a murky pond. Using some rather tricky magic, I was able to transport the little thing back with me, and got it in a special heated pot. Still, I had no idea the age of the palm so I asked an old friend of mine who studied tropical flora and fauna extensively. She told me I had found an extremely rare Dwarf Antonican Palm, growing many many miles away from where it was supposed to be. We assume that Sparrows are responsible for this, but who knows. As a joke about the tropics, a dear guild mate gave me a bona fide buried treasure chest from the Buried Sea. Of course there was nothing in it, save a dried rabbit meat and a hastily scribbled "I.O.U" note. My guess is that these were a tourist trinket, as another one has recently shown up in my home.

Lastly, we get a parting shot leading out of my chambers. Now some call me morbid, others call me cool, but I have two skulls on my book shelves. One from a Sarnak, the other from a humanoid. I assure you, both were found on the ground, but I think there is something strange about them. Something unique, that's why they are placed in a distinguished spot. I sometimes take breakfast in my room, but never in bed. That would get crumbs everywhere! Instead I have a nice little set right at the foot, in front of the fire. The pillow is there because an older friend came to visit me for breakfast, and needed a softer seat.

Well now that you've had the tour, perhaps you'd like to sit a spell and drink some lovely tea beneath the trees, watching the fireflies swirl about? No? Okay, well please come by again, make yourself at home!
